I’ve recently discovered many new loves. I am feeling generous today, so I will share them all with you.
First Category: MAKEUP (of course)
I have two shades: Nude Beach and Naked Dolly. Nude Beach is a more wearable nude, and Naked Dolly can be pulled off nicely with a lip liner. I took the liberty of picking these up when I heard a couple of my favorite YouTube gurus raving about them. I must say, they do not disappoint. I wear them several times a week because I just love everything about them. From the packaging (Too Faced never disappoints in that area), to the pigmentation/creaminess…it’s all there. I’m currently on a nude lip kick and these have been my go-to shades. They go for $21. While it is a bit of a splurge, it is so worth it.
- Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Color Icon Palettes
Ok. You’re thinking…Wet n Wild? Isn’t that the cheapo makeup we used to use in middle school?
Yes. And no. They reformulated everything and now they are AWESOME. These Color Icon Palettes for example. I love these. They are super pigmented, and super CHEAP.
The one on the top is called “Petal Pusher” and it retails for $4.99. The one on the bottom is called “Silent Treatment” and it retails for $2.99. If you are on the market for some new eyeshadow, but you are a budget, I recommend these. They have a creamy/buttery texture and have great color payoff. If worn over an eye primer (which I recommend wearing with any eyeshadow) this shadow lasts all day. As you can see, some of the lighter colors didn’t swatch as well as the darker ones. But let me tell you…those deeper colors are CRAZY pigmented. You will be surprised. I’ve actually found myself reaching for these more lately than my more high-end shadows! And…it doesn’t break the bank. Winning.
(You can pick these up at your local drugstore)

- Quaker Popped (formerly called Quakes) Rice Snacks in Sweet Chili
These are highly addictive. That’s all I’m gonna say. I think they are close to $2.00. Get ‘em at your local supermarket.

- New (to me) band alert: The Joy Formidable
Pull them up on iTunes and give them a listen. I believe they just came out with a new album this month.
I’m loving these songs:
This Ladder Is Ours
I Don’t Want to See You Like This
Well, there you have it. My current loves. Hopefully you find this inspiring, and maybe you’ll give a few of these things a try.
Have a great week!
